FRIENDLY NOTE
Central Outreach is part of the Safe Space Alliance, and we provide Inclusive healthcare to EVERYONE with dignity and respect, including patients who identify themselves outside the gender binary.
On the other hand, the electronic medical record tool we use to facilitate scheduling appointments with us only provides the ability to specify either of the binary genders. We understand that this might be of concern to some of our patients, so in the interim, we request that you pick a gender on your driver's license, and we can discuss/address it at the office during your visit. We are working on transitioning to another electronic medical record to resolve this situation, so we apologize for any inconvenience incurred.

The process starts with a simple blood test to check for the Hepatitis C virus. If the test is positive, we follow up with another test to confirm an active infection. From there, our team will develop a personalized treatment plan, which typically involves a course of oral medication taken for 8 to 12 weeks. These modern treatments have a cure rate of over 95% with minimal side effects. We will guide you through every step, from testing to cure confirmation.
