Kenyon Farrow, social justice champion and President of the LGBT Center of Greater Cleveland, was first introduced to Central Outreach Wellness Center when he saw a Central Outreach Hep C commercial airing on Cleveland’s local airwaves, just the beginning of Central Outreach’s impression on Ohio. In two years' time, Farrow would go from seeing the medical clinic on television to being the keynote speaker for the grand opening of Central Outreach Wellness Center’s new Cleveland Heights facility on October 25, 2023.

Highlighting the access to quality medical care, Farrow noted how important it was for Central Outreach to bring culturally sensitive medical care to the east side of the city, which lacked public healthcare resources compared to other parts of Cleveland.

Those in attendance at the grand opening learned about Central Outreach’s healthcare resources, touring the new building to see exam rooms for both walk-in patients and scheduled patients, an inhouse pharmacy, a food pantry with an industrial refrigerator and freezer, the teaching kitchen, the shower, and the laundry room offering a thorough definition of care for Central Outreach’s patient population.

Additional community officials, like the mayor of Cleveland Heights Khalil Seren, welcomed Central Outreach into the new building, joining Central Outreach founder and medical director Dr. Stacy Lane for a ribbon tying ceremony.

Central Outreach Wellness Center in Cleveland Heights is now open and accepting walk-in patients daily. No insurance is required for care. Visit the new office at 2040 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118.
