Getting tested, starting treatment, and connecting with essential health services should be simple. That’s the idea behind Central Outreach Wellness Center’s new HepCMyWay Center of Excellence (COE) at 2680 W. Broad Street in Columbus, a low-barrier, walk-in destination designed to connect people with timely Hepatitis C care, HIV and STI services, prevention, harm reduction, and ongoing support.
Built around a walk-in outreach model, the HepCMyWay Center of Excellence is designed to make it easier for people to get tested, begin treatment, and connect with ongoing care. Patients can walk in for services or return for scheduled follow-up care, helping reduce barriers that can prevent people from accessing timely healthcare.
Services at the COE include rapid Hepatitis C and HIV testing, Hepatitis C treatment, rapid HIV treatment initiation, PrEP and PEP initiation, comprehensive STI testing and treatment, Narcan and overdose prevention education, fentanyl test strips, and healthcare navigation and referral support. The Center also connects patients with recovery programs, syringe services, and other community resources. When longer-term or specialized care is needed, the COE helps to link patients with Central Outreach’s Downtown Columbus location, virtual programs, or other appropriate healthcare providers.
“We designed the Center of Excellence to make accessing care as simple as possible. Patients can walk through our doors and receive testing, treatment, prevention services, and support without unnecessary barriers or delays,” said Tara Doland, Vice President of Clinic Operations. “Just as importantly, we can help people take the next step by assisting them with ongoing care and resources throughout Central Outreach and the Columbus community.”

This integrated approach allows our team to address multiple health needs during a single visit while creating clear pathways to continued care. By combining rapid testing and treatment with prevention, harm reduction, case management support, and referrals, the COE is designed to meet patients where they are and help them take the next step toward better health.
The opening of the Columbus Center of Excellence represents another step in Central Outreach’s commitment to providing patient-centered, stigma-free care to communities disproportionately impacted by Hepatitis C, HIV, and other infectious diseases. We welcome patients, community partners, and healthcare providers to learn more about the Center and the resources available at 2680 W. Broad Street. The COE is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, as well as on Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
