June is Pride Month, and we are showing up all month long to celebrate, support, and care for our communities across every city we serve. From Pride festivals and block parties to bars, clubs, wellness events, and community spaces, our outreach teams will be out in full force, providing accessible and affirming sexual health services throughout the month.
Pride began as a protest and continues to be a powerful reminder that LGBTQ+ people deserve visibility, safety, community, and access to health care without stigma or barriers. That’s why every June, we take our services directly into the spaces where our communities gather to celebrate, connect, and feel joy.
Last year, we tested over 1,000 people and got more than 150 people on PrEP! We hope to increase that number this Pride season!
This month, our outreach teams will be providing:
- STI testing
- HIV testing
- PrEP education and starts
- ART linkage and support
- DoxyPEP information
- Condoms, lube, and safer sex supplies
- Harm reduction resources
- LGBTQ+ affirming health education
- Swag, giveaways, and incentives at select events
Whether you’re attending your first Pride event or your fifteenth, we want you to know that taking care of your sexual health is part of celebrating yourself. Getting tested, learning about prevention options like PrEP, and staying informed about your health are all acts of self-love and community care.
Our staff will be out across all of our service areas throughout the month, meeting people where they are and making health care more accessible in spaces that feel welcoming, inclusive, and fun.
